After School Clubs

To Student and Parents,

We are opening out after-school activity clubs this year starting Monday October 6th. It is exciting news to announce our line-up for this year’s clubs.

Film Club
MONDAY 3:00-4:00pm

Sponsored by our Vice Principal Jordan Samek and coordinated by our Peer Mentor Jamie Eang, our students come together for a collaborative group film project. We have already been recognized by the Langley City Film Festival in 2021, and more recently, the New West Film Festival this year.

Chess Club
MONDAY 3:00-4:00pm

Sponsored by one of our support staff, Mark Linnick, competitive chess is part of our E-Sports umbrella. With Mark as coach, students compete online against other schools in these chess tournaments.

Fitness Club
TUESDAY 3:00-4:00pm

Sponsored by one of our teaching staff, Rick Gill, the Fitness Club is where students can get an hour worth of exercise in a come-as-you-wish atmosphere. Rick’s classroom has a variety of exercise facilities for students to use.

E-Sports
MONDAY 3:00-4:00pm

Our flagship team in the world of E-Sports, our team is sponsored by our support staff member Noah Trinder who also is our coach. Currently, our team plays the video game Marvel Rivals and we were ranked #3 in North America.

If any students have any ideas for new clubs, we are open to suggestions for consideration. We are looking forward to welcoming our students to our clubs in the next week.
